Why Is The Acoustic Guitar One Of The Most Preferred Instrument To Learn For Many Folks?

Through the years I've discovered something. Everyone, and I mean everyone has a fundamental desire to learn music of some type! Having played guitar for some time, I'm constantly interested to learn how a 'non musician' understands music, so anytime I'm out and I speak to new people I usually inquire if they play an instrument, and more regularly I ask "if you could learn any musical instrument on earth, which one would it be and why?" the response you might have suspected it's relatively traditional.
Drums or guitar for boys and piano for girls. I do believe when most people tell me that they would love to learn an instrument, and I also believe them every time they reluctantly admit that they merely can't find the time required to concentrate on learning an instrument, not to mention investing in one.
The guitar is subsequently by far the most common musical instrument chosen by people. How come?
After spending some time considering it I came to a number of conclusions. A big reason is practicality!
Purchasing a guitar is definitely cheaper than purchasing a drum kit or maybe a piano in addition to being simpler to take with you. It's also easier to cover the majority of types of music using a guitar. You'll be able to play ballads just as easily as you can play rock anthems. The guitar's got it all!
Naturally, individuals have different ambitions with regards to what they desire to accomplish once they learn an instrument,but the majority of individuals are just pleased to learn a few chords and methods to enable them to play their favorite songs, and just fool around with the acoustic guitar after work. This brings me to my personal favorite reason why people enjoy playing guitar - it's therapeutic.
Some individuals realize this, and many people smile in agreement once I share this thought with them. Returning home from work or school and playing a couple of common chords while your brother/sister/mate/uncle/evil-monkey-in-the-closet is busy looking for lyrics on their phone or laptop, is simply relaxing and enjoyable.
So embrace the desire, act on it, make music...
