Electric Underfloor Heating Systems In Modern Houses
I am a person that is heavily involved in the property market. I am involved and part of a group of investors who like to buy and sell property - we always make improvements to the houses prior to selling them on for a profit. One topic that we have been debating recently is that of the flooring of the houses and this is what I will be discussing within this article - what will the majority of homeowners be looking for, flooring wise, in the future?
We are based in the United Kingdom and the majority of the houses that we buy, to do up, are in the old nineteen thirties style. They are usually carpeted throughout, with perhaps the kitchen and bathroom being the exception in certain circumstances. This was very much the way of things and many properties in the UK are still being lived in with this feature. Carpets were seen as warm and cosy but they had a downside which was the fact that it was difficult to keep them clean and free from stains.
Our property investment group feels that the modern day house purchaser is looking for a much more minimalistic approach - and to live in a way where it is quite simple to keep their home looking clean while remaining the cosy element. So this is what we believe is the answer to provide them with both of these qualities:
1. No more carpets! Yes carpets are very much the past and instead could be replaced with a high quality wooden flooring. If, for example, a young child spills a drink on a wooden flooring it is very easy to clean up. This type of flooring also looks impressive, in our opinion, and again has a modern feel about it.
2. But what about the feeling of being cosy and warm I can hear you all ask? Well this is provided for by way of having electric underfloor heating installed into the bathrooms and other forms of underfloor heating systems installed into the conservatory and even possibly the kitchen.
We have been working to this plan for the last twelve months and thus far the house buyers seem to very much like what we are doing.
As we move forward and as new forms of flooring become available on the market we are likely to update our opinions and thoughts however for now the above is something we very much believe in.
