Acoustic Guitar Soft Case

Hard or soft acoustic guitar case?

Im getting my nephew an acoustic/elec guitar, and dont know what case to get him. From another question, I learned that the humidity has to be controlled for a guitar to last, and that is the reason I should get a hard case. He isnt going to take it anywhere far, probably just to school every now and then. So, Soft of Hard? Im leaning towards this soft case

The hard is by far the best option but they are more expensive. THe humidity wont kick in for a good 10-15 years and so its not ever and big deal if he doesnt catch on. but the soft will do the job. most likely the only thing he'll need it for is to move it. he'll probably keep it on a stand at home so either way. but either way im sure it will work out
