Acoustic Guitar Setup?
I bought a nice new takamine and when I tuned it the action was high. Is this normal? Do I need to set it up? This is my first new guitar buy.
Takamines are known for the high action that comes with the factory settings, so yes, you need a set-up. Read some of user reviews at the following site and you'll notice the "high action" mentions.
